Get out the Defibrillator…The Heartbeat of America needs a restart!

1 June 2009 2 Comments

General Motors is going to soon belong to the taxpayers.  I just want to know if they will let me design automobiles.   There could be a CEO position at GM in my future.  I just want to know when my royalty checks will start coming.  Bailout….Bailout…..Bailout…..Government Takeover……Cutting Autoworkers Benefits, Pensions, and Wages…..It sounds like a good plan to me!  I don’t have all the right answers, but I’m almost sure that this answer isn’t right!  My family has been a Chevrolet family since my Grandpa bought his 57 Bel Air, but I guess that may change.

I am definitely not in favor of a takeover as I believe we should let companies thrive or die. Either GM will realize their problems whether it be their leadership or they won’t and they will die. Whichever it is we don’t need the Government saying you don’t know what is best for your company so we will tell you what is best. I say this without bias for the fact that I am trying to buy shares of GM as we speak and I still believe that if they are going to close then let them. What next since you can’t make your mortgage payment are they going to take over your house and tell you how to take care of your personal finances. Oh goodness that might be more of a reality than I know… Blog post coming soon on that topic.

GM known as the Heartbeat of American is just a scam on the hard working American public. Our economy has tanked at this point Americans have to start producing first rate products so we can keep are money here in this country.
